The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing the flow of incoming business opportunities, validating operational procedures, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new customers. This role bridges the gap between sales, operations, and implementation teams to drive accurate order and shipment processing, customer
satisfaction, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure orders are processed timely and accurately, maintaining a high level of data
quality.
Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition from
sales to implementation.
Manage the implementation process, including timelines, deliverables, milestones,
and customization of systems (e.g., CW1) to align with operational needs.
Provide training sessions to educate employees and customers on using products
and systems e(ectively.
Act as the main point of contact for onboarding new suppliers and customers.
Monitor mailboxes and communication flows for swift follow-up on issues and
inquiries.
Run reports to identify data quality errors, analyze root causes of failures, and
implement corrective actions.
Collate data for analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation of customer requirements, shipping instructions,
and order records.
Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance
with personnel policies.
Work closely with sales, product development, and customer support teams to
ensure successful client onboarding and continuous improvement of the onboarding process.
Identify opportunities to enhance order management and implementation
workflows to improve customer and employee satisfaction.
Perform day-to-day o(ice support tasks and shift focus between distribution
channels and business types as needed.
Skills & Competencies:
Demonstrated leadership and ability to allocate work assignments to maximize
team and individual e(ectiveness.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting e(ectively with
customers, colleagues, and management.
Ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries promptly.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex issues and implement
solutions.
Technical troubleshooting and management capabilities.
Ability to develop, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
according to ISO standards.
Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to manage
competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Flexible interpersonal style to build cohesive relationships and foster collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new policies,
procedures, and processes.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Education & Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in order management, customer onboarding, or business support, or any equivalent combination of training and
experience.

For this position, the expected base salary is: $71,000 - $106,500. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
