The Inventory Control Assistant Specialist is responsible for managing shipping and receiving needs, as well as purchasing items for the maintenance department. This includes ordering stock and non-stock materials, processing routine forms, reports, and documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and leadership.

  • Demonstrate excellent radio and phone communication skills.

  • Perform routine and scheduled cycle counts.

  • Ship and receive supplies, materials, and parts.

  • Purchase maintenance-related items and supplies.

  • Distribute parts and packages to designated departments or individuals.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts areas, bins, and lockers.

  • Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
