Summary
The Sr. P&O Specialist – Employee Relations & Legal Administration plays a critical role in fostering a respectful, compliant, and supportive workplace. This role supports employee relations matters, legal administrative functions including subpoena organization, trend tracking, and ensures alignment with employment laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate will combine technical HR expertise with strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and drive resolution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding workplace concerns.
- Assist with thorough, unbiased investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Document and track employee relations cases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Legal Administration
- Receive, track, and respond to subpoenas, legal notices, and document requests.
- Liaise with internal legal counsel and external attorneys to ensure compliance.
- Maintain secure and organized legal documentation and records.
- Support legal cost tracking and organization.
- General P&O Support
- Contribute to policy development and updates in response to legal changes.
- Collaborate with P&O colleagues on cross-functional initiatives and projects.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or commensurate experience.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and legal administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, Title VII, etc.).
- Experience handling subpoenas and legal documentation preferred.
- Experience in HRIS and case management systems.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,000 - $93,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
