Summary
The Senior Product Owner, LTL Express is responsible for the strategic development, operational alignment, and commercial growth of DSV’s LTL Express product within the United States and Canada. This role defines the product vision, establishes operational standards, and ensures alignment with the global Road product strategy while supporting consistent service delivery across countries and markets.
The Senior Product Owner works closely with operations, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop scalable LTL express logistics solutions that support time-sensitive freight and evolving customer requirements. This role plays a key part in expanding DSV’s LTL Express offering by driving product adoption, supporting sales initiatives, and developing operational frameworks that ensure consistent, efficient, and competitive service across the network
Duties & Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Own the development and strategic direction of the LTL Express product within the U.S. and regional market.
- Define and maintain product standards, operating procedures, and service expectations aligned with global Road product frameworks.
- Ensure operational consistency of the LTL Express product across the organization and alignment with corporate standards implemented in other countries.
- Develop and implement scalable LTL Express service concepts designed to support time-sensitive and specialized freight movements.
- Partner closely with Operations leadership to implement, scale, and continuously improve the LTL Express product offering across the network.
- Monitor product performance, service levels, transit reliability, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and product evolution.
- Support the development of standardized service offerings including expedited LTL services, time-definite deliveries, and specialized handling requirements.
Commercial Growth & Sales Support
- Partner with Sales and Commercial leadership to drive revenue growth within the LTL Express product segment.
- Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new LTL Express customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop customer-specific logistics solutions that leverage the LTL Express service offering.
- Participate in customer meetings, strategic account discussions, and solution design sessions to support complex logistics opportunities.
- Assist Sales teams with product positioning, value proposition development, and competitive differentiation within the LTL Express market.
- Provide subject matter expertise during RFPs, RFQs, and proposal development related to LTL Express services.
- Identify opportunities to expand LTL Express services through network enhancements, new service features, and operational efficiencies.
Market & Product Expansion
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities within the LTL and express transportation sector.
- Support leadership with strategic recommendations to strengthen DSV’s position in the LTL Express market.
- Assist in developing go-to-market strategies, product documentation, and internal training programs supporting the LTL Express product offering.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, IT, finance, and commercial teams to ensure successful product implementation and scalability.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams to support consistent service delivery and product adoption.
- Support the development of operational best practices for LTL Express shipments including service design, operational workflows, and network coordination.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with LTL, express freight, or time-sensitive transportation services preferred.
- Experience developing or managing logistics products, services, or operational programs strongly preferred.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and product management.
- Experience working within global or multi-regional logistics organizations preferred.

Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Occasional standing, walking, or movement within an office or operational facility may be required. The employee must be able to communicate effectively and perform tasks that involve repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with computer work. Occasional travel may be required to support regional alignment and operational initiatives.
Work Environment
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with collaboration across operations, product, and commercial teams. The role may occasionally require visits to operational or warehouse facilities to support product development initiatives or gain operational insight. Moderate noise levels consistent with a professional office or operational environment may be present.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $112,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy. This position will be eligible for a performance-based bonus program.
