Main Purpose of The Role:

Collection and delivering cargo to and from suppliers / clients

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years truck driving experience.

Code 10 Driver’s license and valid PDP

Excellent understanding of industry and related job requirements for freight forwarding.

Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and service providers.

Qualifications: 

Matric (Grade 12)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing and packing of cargo onto / into required ULD’s / equipment

Loading and offloading of cargo

Delivering export cargo to ground handlers / airlines at Cape Town International Airport

Collection and delivering cargo to and from suppliers / clients

General driving as required

Assisting warehouse staff with the preparation of cargo

Added Advantage:

Strong communication and relationship building skills, both verbally and written

Ownership and self-motivated, to ensure any challenge are addressed immediately and resolved as soon as possible.

Ability to work under pressure.

Positive outlook and team player

Self-confident and resilient.

Strong persuasive and organizational skills

Detail orientated and ability to work under pressure.
