MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role will be responsible for planning, administrating, organizing and reporting all Export related activities.
Contribute to the development of the Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding In-House functions.
Ensure that all In-House activities are conducted in a timeous and accurate manner and meet internal procedures.
Support the Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding In-House function
Always maintain a “hands on service” and attend to the Client’s requirements promptly, efficiently and proactively.
Understanding of all aspects of the job, systems and procedures.

Job-related Requirements
5 years’ experience and knowledge of exporting parts into Sub Saharan Africa counties.
3 years in a warehouse environment working/acting in an administrative role.
Understanding of the export inspection process.
3 years’ experience & knowledge of automotive parts and how to inspect these parts.
Able to communicate etiquette (email and telephone) clearly to dealers and other customers.
Attention to detail with respect to investigations and problem solving.
Be able to work overtime and flextime if required (including Weekends and Public Holidays).
Planning & organizing – very strong ability to manage time & prioritize
Excellent communication skills and ability – be able to communicate at all levels within and out of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Control and Manage all Export Shipments.
Update and maintain Shipping Register on a Daily basis, report on any deviations in performance.
Creation of Export Shipments on win freight.
Check all documents received from SAP Administrators to ensure correct data is captured on the documents.
Status Reports to be kept updated and communicated to Clients, ensuring that customer requirements are achieved.
Control, Manage and follow-up on all bookings made with the relevant forwarders.
Daily checking of Orders to ensure on time shipment of complete Orders.
Accurate shipment of complete Orders within Lead-Time.
Accurate submission of Shipping documentation i.e. Commercial invoice, packing list, clearing instructions if required
Ensure shipments are being shipped accurately to avoid any unnecessary charges.
On-Time Investigation of Queries and Claims.
To ensure that the Company’s Service Performance Objectives are achieved.
To adhere to all documented and verbal Procedures, Work Instructions and Disciplines.
To assist all parties involved with any problems, queries etc. pertaining to the account.
Liaising with forwarders, dealers and clients daily
Attending to all queries from all parties concerned
All ad hoc and general duties that may arise.
