Main Purpose of the Role
Assisting will all functions relating to Freight movement into and out of All Aspen branches and the overall performance of Distribution relating to Aspen.
Job Related Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Distribution
- Must have a valid code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle.
- PC Literate (MS Word, Excel)

- Working experience on Delta
Duties & Responsibilities
- Capture staff time
- Arrange containers and booking slots
- Process Direct loads and network freight on all systems.
- Handling of all operational queries.
- Compiling of operational reports – Undel, Floor stock, no PoP, etc. to meet set deadlines / targets.
- Report on risk related issues (Theft, damages, incidents and accidents).
- Control of receiving and dispatching freight and all related paperwork
- Dispatch all Aspen freight and draw up prewarnings
- Sorting, scanning and generating trip sheets for outgoing freight.
- Processing third parties
- Load vehicles
- Overpack Aspen parcels
- Wrap pallets
- Perform manual floor check
- Ensure designated work area is neat and tidy
Keep stationary and pallet areas neat and tidy
Other Duties
- Computer literacy skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook
- Good Numeric skills
- Good Communication and oral skills
- Punctuality and good Time Management skills are Essential
- Ability to work under pressure without constant supervision
- Self motivated, high energy levels and flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements
- Must be able to meet targets and deadlines
- Customer and quality focused
- Must be able to work in an organized and neat manner
- Prepared to work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Willing to work long hours if the business requires Results Driven
