Fast, modern logistics solutions help retailer open new store for peak shopping season

A famous UK-based international retailer needed to open its first store in Egypt before Christmas. DSV was tapped as the retailer’s logistics supplier and charged with delivering a modern solution to the store’s operation. Working under extreme time constraints, DSV established a dedicated 1,200 sqm dust-free area within a 43,000 sqm warehouse in Egypt to manage the flow of all inbound and outbound goods. DSV carried out daily distributions to the store and provided customized services, such as a temperature-controlled area for cosmetics storage and specialty solutions for hanging garments. DSV’s commitment to meeting its customer’s expectations meant the store could commence operations in time for the holiday rush – and benefit from the huge sales potential during peak shopping season.
