Moving 1,200 tons of critical parts door-to-door to support building boom in the Philippines

An eight-member, on-site DSV team provides supply chain expertise to a major Mexican-based global building materials company. The customer relies on DSV to support procurement, project management and technology operations. DSV’s deep understanding of the environment and the customer’s growth strategy enables us to be entrusted with moving critical parts, equipment and machinery while providing a high-level overview of the supply chain so the customer can maintain efficiency and control costs.

In support of the customer’s growth, DSV arranged a door-to-door parts charter shipment of 1,200 tons (4,600 cubic meters) for the expansion of a cement and building materials plant in the Philippines, where infrastructure and housing construction are booming.
