Supplier overcomes crisis with warehousing and value-added services solutions

A leading multinational engineering, automotive, industrial and building products supplier was facing a crisis in its warehousing of automobile spare parts, VAS and secondary distribution network. So, this long-time customer turned to DSV for more help. The company shifted to using DSV’s world-class shared warehousing facility in Tongi, located just 2 kilometers away from Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. DSV also became responsible for value-added services and periodic cycle counting. We managed over 500 SKUs in different storage BINs in line with WMS. We provided 100% on-time delivery and 99.9% inventory accuracy. The company increased the warehouse space it uses from 2,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet and is contracting for us to handle more products.
