Track and trace your CO2
It's increasingly important to have visibility of your company's CO2 emissions because we know it's more than just about compliance, but about being able to set and reach achievable goals.
Our comprehensive CO2 reports are designed to give you a clear summary of your carbon emissions so you can make smarter, more sustainable decisions about your supply chain.
Our collaboration partner - EcoTransIT World

EcoTransIT World is the most widely used software globally for the automatic calculation of CO2 emissions. Its calculation methodology has been developed, maintained, and validated by independent scientific institutes (Ifeu, INFRAS and Fraunhofer IML).
EcoTransIT is the first industry CO2 calculation tool to receive Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) framework accreditation. It also meets the requirements of ISO Standard 14083:2023 and the GHG protocol.

Carbon emission information on invoices
We focus on keeping your supply chains flowing through operational excellence, sustainable growth, and a commitment to minimizing the impact our operations have on the environment. Visibility is an important step, which is why we display CO2 emissions calculations on customer invoices. CO2 emission calculations on invoices is designed to create visibility of CO2 on a shipment level and increase transparency between the shipments you book through DSV, and the CO2 emissions associated with those shipments. To achieve this, we are seamlessly integrating our newly developed CO2 emissions reporting service into the DSV invoice process.
CO2 emissions are calculated on a shipment level and are in accordance with the EcoTransIT World Methodology, ISO Standard 14083:2023, the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) Framework for Logistics Emissions and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.
CO2 emissions calculations are based on shipment parameters available at the time of invoicing and may change over time. Whenever a defined shipment parameter such as transport mode per leg, start and end locations or cargo weight is updated in DSV transport management systems (TMS), a new CO2 calculation is generated. This is to ensure that the most accurate and up–to–date CO2 calculation is available to print on a customer invoice at time of invoicing.
If some of the parameters required for CO2 calculation are not yet available at the time of invoicing, then “CO2 not available” will be displayed on the invoice, because the calculation could not be completed at that time.
If sustainable fuels have been purchased to cover the shipment on the invoice, then the CO2 reduction declaration will be issued separately, whereas CO2 displayed on the invoice indicates the baseline emission for the shipment before obtained reductions.
