After more than 50 years, Panalpina’s connect magazine will be retired and integrated into the new Panalpina Newsroom.

The latest – and therefore last – issue of connect, has just been published. It takes a look at the challenges and opportunities for doing business in Africa and how Panalpina is expanding its footprint on this continent.

Find out how Panalpina has responded to this development by opening new offices in Morocco and Kenya, acquiring its Egyptian partner Afifi and a majority stake in Airflo, a Kenyan freight forwarder specialized in delivering fresh cut flowers, plant cuttings and vegetables to worldwide destinations. Read why a renowned economic editor is convinced that Africa is set to be the most dynamic market in the world.

The cover story shows how Panalpina’s Energy Solutions teams overcome mammoth obstacles to move heavy equipment from Asia and the US to a power station in Angola.

Africa aside, the ultimate edition of connect explains how Panalpina is exploring innovative ways to prepare for the future in an increasingly circular economy.

You can download connect as a PDF in English (below) and German (Related / Documents). Enjoy the reading!
