Global Transport and Logistics

Global

Job Req Number:  114029
Time Type: Full Time

Would you like to be part of a one-of-a-kind transformation in the largest transport and logistics company in the world?

If you enjoy combining structured thinking, data, and stakeholder coordination to turn ambiguity into decision-ready insight – without being the project manager responsible for delivery – this role is for you.

“Merging DSV and Schenker, you’ll help build the transparency that enables predictable country implementations and continuous improvement at scale. And as you do so, you’ll work on how a global company makes decisions on priorities, capacity, and sequencing. We have a great foundation and are now putting things together in a new way, giving you a say on what you think is best fit for purpose,” explains Daniel Obst, Director, Finance Transformation Office.

Join us as we build a new team

Stepping into our Finance Transformation department in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will meet more than 90 international colleagues working globally and across time zones. Currently, we are building a new team within our Finance Transformation Office, which will oversee all financial projects over the next two years, following the Schenker integration. You will be part of building this team alongside a Finance Transformation Partner.

Help build and run the “portfolio operating system”

Finance Transformation is building a future-ready way of running a complex change portfolio: large multi-country rollouts (incl. finance-related systems changes) alongside a broad set of “business-as-usual” improvements. To make good decisions at speed, leaders need one clear view of demand, capacity, progress, risks, and readiness across countries and initiatives.

You will help build and run the “portfolio operating system” – the reporting, structures and governance that make progress measurable and decisions easy. This includes creating portfolio transparency and reporting structures, designing and maintaining dashboards, trackers, and leadership reporting (Excel/Power BI) to monitor progress, milestones, risks and dependencies across the portfolio.

Specifically, you will:

  • Produce leadership-ready capacity reporting based on capacity plans and timesheets.
  • Continuously improve the underlying logic and data quality, consolidating inputs from multiple teams, and enabling fact-based prioritization and follow-up for senior stakeholders.
  • Work on intake governance (first step in the lifecycle), where you maintain and continuously improve the intake process and maintain intake templates, guidance, and ways of working.
  • Prepare concise, high-quality packs and materials for leadership forums (status, capacity, risks, key decisions) and maintain portfolio documentation, templates, and SharePoint/Teams structures.
  • Support integrated planning views (e.g., country rollout sequencing, readiness inputs, dependency visibility) and help keep the data structured and decision-ready.

Experience in business analysis

We are looking for a colleague who is naturally structured and able to turn scattered updates into a clean story with clear actions. Perhaps you already have experience from a global matrix organization.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have some years of experience in business analysis, PMO/portfolio support, consulting, finance transformation, or a similar structured role.
  • Possess strong skills in both PowerPoint and Excel, plus experience building insights in Power BI (or comparable BI tooling).
  • Are fluent in English

Perhaps, you have also been exposed to portfolio/project data in a PPM tool (e.g., Broadcom Clarity or similar) – especially if you have worked with “one version of the truth” reporting. And maybe you are familiar with ERP / finance systems change contexts. But these are not prerequisites.
