A Strategic Role at the Heart of Enterprise Business Development

As Head of Enterprise AI, you will lead a strategically important area focusing on integrating artificial intelligence across the organization and having the purpose of enhancing the customer experience while also optimizing operations. DSV aims to strike the right balance of running short-term ROI projects while investing in more long-term transformational initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in helping us achieve that.

The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Development and is anchored in DSV’s Global IT organisation. Enterprise Business Development is DSV’s organization focusing on some of the most transformative digital initiatives in the Group, enabling DSV to act as one digital enterprise, connecting data, intelligence across divisions, customers, systems and geographies.

Location is DSV headquarters in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen.

Deliver on the Enterprise-Wide ambition for AI spanning across the full value chain of DSV

Your main responsibility will be to make AI work in practice across DSV. This means setting a clear, enterprise-wide direction for how AI is built, used, and governed, and ensuring initiatives move beyond pilots into real, scalable solutions that deliver business value. You will define priorities, standards, and ways of working, build a strong global AI team, and work closely with business and technology leaders to solve concrete problems in operations, decision-making, and customer solutions. The role is about turning AI into a dependable capability that teams trust and use as part of day-to-day work.

More specifically, you will:

• • Impact, refine and execute based on the enterprise AI strategy in alignment with DSV’s business objectives
  • Drive measurable business outcomes by introducing AI adoption across business units and global functions
  • Oversee the development and deployment of AI/ML models for automation and optimization across the organization
  • Work with operations leaders to find high impact opportunities where AI can be applied to enhance the customer experience or improve operational effectiveness
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in innovation and technology forums, strengthening our presence within the global logistics and tech ecosystems
  • Identify co-development or investment opportunities in relevant technologies that will provide DSV with a strong competitive advantage
  • Drive AI adoption, literacy and upskilling initiatives across the DSV Group

Enterprise AI Leader with a Track Record of Moving AI from Ideas to Impact

You are a strategic and trusted leader with a strong business mindset and the ability to navigate complex organisations. You bring hands-on experience turning AI and data into practical solutions, translating strategy into clear priorities and real outcomes. You thrive in dynamic environments and are focused on building AI capabilities that teams actually use, delivering measurable value and long-term impact for the business.

To succeed in this role, you bring: 

• • Proven track record of driving digital transformation efforts in large and complex organizations
  • Familiarity with logistics operations (warehousing, transport, supply chain systems) and digital technologies leveraged nowadays in the logistics industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, technology partnerships, or corporate innovation
  • Strong background in AI platforms, cloud ecosystems and data architecture
  • Strategic vision, operational precision and proven ability in navigating complex organisations
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to challenge constructively and drive alignment
  • Integrity, stamina and authenticity under pressure
  • Consultancy mindset and a proven toolbox that allows you to convey solutions across all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to connect emerging technologies to strategic business objectives
