Create financial transparency and enable better decisions in Global IT

Are you driven by turning complex IT financials into clear, trusted insights for leadership? Do you want to shape how a global organisation invests and prioritises its IT resources?

As Head of IT Financial Management, you will play a central role in strengthening financial transparency, cost control, and value realisation across Global IT. You will enable fact‑based decision‑making for senior leadership and ensure that IT investments deliver the right outcomes.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of CIO Office, you will establish and lead IT Financial Management as a core competence area within Global IT. Working closely with Group Finance, Group PMO, and IT verticals, your mandate is to create a transparent, predictable, and value‑driven view of IT spend across run, change, and strategic initiatives.

You will support executive decision‑making by connecting IT budgets, actuals, and services, translating financial data into actionable insights, and ensuring efficient and responsible use of IT financial resources across Global IT.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • End‑to‑end IT cost transparency: Establishing full visibility across run, change, and transformation costs, with clear traceability from budget to services, applications, and IT verticals
  • Financial reporting & executive insights: Delivering standardised and ad‑hoc reporting that translates complex financial data into clear decision support for CIO, CIOO, and senior leadership
  • Financial governance & control: Ensuring strong financial controls across IT spend, adherence to policies and investment cases, and support to audit processes
  • Value tracking & benefits realisation: Following up on business cases and benefits to ensure transparency on ROI, cost efficiency, and value delivered
  • Tooling, data & automation: Owning and developing IT financial tooling and data foundations (e.g. ERP, cost management and cloud cost tools) to ensure a reliable single source of truth
  • Collaboration & influence: Building strong partnerships across IT, Finance, and PMO to enable informed prioritisation, sound investments, and continuous improvement

About you

You bring a strong financial background combined with a deep understanding of how IT creates value. You are structured, analytical, and confident navigating complexity, and you enjoy translating numbers into insights that drive better decisions.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Bring solid experience with IT financial management, cost allocation models, and financial governance in complex organisations
  • Are comfortable working with enterprise systems and financial tooling (e.g. ERP, cloud cost platforms)
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with senior IT and business leaders
  • Demonstrate a strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities, high integrity, and personal drive
  • Thrive in a global, fast‑changing environment where priorities evolve and collaboration is key
