In this role, you will take the lead in shaping DSV’s global compensation frameworks. You will design and implement programs that ensure we reward performance, stay competitive in global markets, and meet evolving regulatory expectations such as pay transparency.

 

Your work will directly influence how we attract, retain, and motivate talent across the world ensuring that our compensation approach supports both business growth and employee trust.

 

Your role – driving global compensation excellence 

As part of the Group Total Rewards team, you will act as a Compensation Subject Matter Expert within our Centre of Excellence. You will partner closely with P&O Business Partners, leadership, and external providers to design and deliver scalable, data-driven compensation solutions.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the design, development, and implementation of global compensation programs aligned with DSV’s business strategy
  • Lead global processes such as annual salary reviews, merit cycles, bonus frameworks, and incentive programs
  • Develop and maintain global salary structures, grading frameworks, and job architecture • Ensure market competitiveness through benchmarking and salary analysis using external providers (e.g. Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to P&O Business Partners and senior stakeholders on compensation decisions, salary positioning, and pay strategy
  • Drive pay transparency and compliance initiatives, including frameworks aligned with EU Pay Transparency regulations
  • Analyse compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate these into actionable insights
  • Lead standardisation and digitalisation of compensation processes, including system optimisation in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Partner cross-functionally to align compensation with performance management, workforce planning, and business goals
  • Contribute to strengthening global compensation capabilities and knowledge sharing across regions

 

What you bring – expertise in compensation and global perspective

You are an experienced compensation professional who combines analytical depth with business understanding. You know how to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation or Total Rewards, with a strong focus on compensation design
  • Proven experience managing global or multi-country compensation programs
  • Strong expertise in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and grading methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with compensation surveys and frameworks (e.g. Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry)
  • Solid understanding of global compensation trends, including pay equity and transparency topics
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to build models and interpret complex datasets
  • Experience working with HR systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors (Compensation module is a plus)
  • Strong project management skills, with experience driving global initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to influence and guide decision-making
  • High attention to detail combined with a structured, solution-oriented mindset Nice to have
  • Experience in Compensation or Rewards consulting
  • Exposure to global transformation or digitalisation projects
  • Experience working in a matrix, international organisation
