Role: Warehouse Team Lead (Night Shift)
Shifts: 5 from 7, 22:00-06:00
Location: Raunds, Wellingborough
What will you be doing?
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, managing a team to achieve business targets and KPIs.
- Coordinate workloads, monitor performance, and ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
- Develop and train team members, fostering a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock movement records; support regular stock takes.
- Ensure systems, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Produce reports, assist with capacity planning, and recommend process improvements.
- Manage time and attendance, support people management issues, and handle performance and welfare meetings.
- Communicate priorities and operational requirements to staff; liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport partners.
- Uphold security, cleanliness, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
About You
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader with experience of supervising and motivating a team
• A good working knowledge of health and safety and security requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
• Analytical and numerical with excellent attention to detail
• Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
• An appropriate warehousing qualification or supervisory qualification would be advantageous
