Training Specialist

DSV are recruiting for a Training Specialist at our Mercia Park location

- To provide training to increase knowledge levels of the CargoWrite WMS application across the UK.
- To assist the Training Manager with Lean Thinking programs, Key User Training courses and any other administrative duties as required.
Key Tasks

Duties / Responsibilities
- Administration – Training schedule and Diary Maintenance. Liaison across sites to advise of training courses and results. Course material preparation, Bespoke documentation and any other training documentation as required. Timely production of training data for inclusion into quarterly stats.
- E-Learning – Assisting in the development and inclusion of e-learning tools.
- Continuous Improvement – The Trainer will need to continue with learning to ensure that knowledge levels are to the required standard in conjunction with Global BCM guidelines. This includes but is not restricted to Key User Training, Engineer Training and Train the Trainer training. All qualifications achieved will be re-tested on a bi-annual basis.
- Identify areas of continuous improvement and make recommendations to the Training Manager.
Skills and Competencies
Required
· Level 3 – Basic English
· Successful completion of a Plus People Management Skills
· CargoWrite Knowledge
· Operational role accountable for productivity
· Competent & confident communicator through clear & concise language both written & verbal
· Positive and approachable
Desirable
· Completion of a Key User, Engineer & Train the Trainer Course
- Exposure to WMS project life cycle
- Ability to analyse operational performance. Working knowledge of picking strategies
- Has delivered training to operators
- Aptitude toward IT and continued learning. Adaptable to new WOW and changing operational environments.
