As a control tower assistant, you will make a difference within our dynamic Control Tower Team in Moerdijk. No day is the same, and that is exactly what makes this role so exciting. You continuously switch between our international customers, planning teams and the crossdock to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our European Control Tower consists of several verticals, spread across our locations in Sevenum and Moerdijk. Together with your colleagues in Moerdijk, you ensure successful customer implementations, excellent service delivery and the continuous strengthening of customer relationships; You’re on it.

How you do this? By creating an outstanding customer experience! As a Control Tower Assistant, you are in daily contact with our international customers. You take ownership of shipments, monitor progress and ensure everything runs smoothly from origin to destination. As the connecting link between customers and colleagues, you identify challenges early, communicate clearly in case of delays and work together with your team to find the best solutions. This is how you create satisfied customers and reliable service every day. You achieve this by:

• maintaining close contact with customers and internal departments, including your colleagues from planning, sales and crossdock;
• quickly and accurately creating shipments to various destinations across Europe;
• monitoring and maintaining customer performance reports;
• handling complaints/claims and processing the related logistics administration in our systems;
• identifying, analysing and resolving process deviations;
• further developing customer relationships and recognising business opportunities.

You bring

• a passion for transport and logistics, and the ability to share that enthusiasm with others;
• at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role, such as customer service representative, transport planner or another customer focused position;
• a service-oriented mindset, you think in solutions, work well as part of a team and are only satisfied when the job is done;
• strong social skills, a good sense of humour and the confidence to pick up the phone when needed;
• good command of the Dutch (B2) and English language.
