Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive airfreight quotations in line with customer requirements and commercial strategies.
- Coordinate with airlines, airfreight vendors, and global offices to secure timely, compliant, and competitive air rates.
- Support Sales and Key Account teams by providing fast and reliable airfreight pricing solutions for spot quotes, contracts, and tenders (RFQs).
- Maintain and update airfreight pricing databases, rate sheets, and quotation systems, ensuring data accuracy and validity.
- Monitor airfreight rate expirations, renewals, capacity constraints, and market changes to avoid pricing discrepancies.
- Analyze airfreight costs, margins, and pricing performance to support profitable growth and informed decision-making.
- Prepare pricing-related reports and support commercial KPIs such as turnaround time, competitiveness, and hit ratio.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure airfreight pricing feasibility and operational alignment.
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing guidelines, air trade regulations, and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve airfreight pricing processes, tools, and overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in pricing, commercial support, or business support within freight forwarding or logistics, with hands-on airfreight exposure.
- Strong understanding of airfreight pricing structures, including fuel surcharges, security fees, and other accessorial charges.
- Proficiency in Excel and pricing/quotation systems; experience with TMS or digital pricing tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
