Within our large Global IT organization at DSV, you’ll become part of the IT Governance team. You’ll join a fantastic group of enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative colleagues, working together to manage IT processes and their operations to the next level. Your primary location will be our beautiful DSV office in Warsaw, with the possibility of working from home.
About this Opportunity
Welcome to IT Governance. We are responsible for Global IT Change Management, IT Continuity Management, Transition Management, and various other IT processes and governance areas. As an IT Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring operational stability, especially within the IT Continuity Management area.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and improve DSV IT Continuity Management process, corresponding procedures and documentations
- Ensure Operations of DSV IT Disaster Recovery tests, to deliver on time and in quality
- Track and monitor KPI of IT Continuity Management (Disaster Recovery) for governance and control to ensure IT resilience and operational stability
- Support various IT Governance tasks and improvement initiatives that are feasible, fit-to use/purpose, and eventually materialize the improvements
- Practice the supervising role within governance area, and balance with providing the consultancy to Global IT colleagues
Technical Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, continuity management, or similar position within IT operations and services
- Solid knowledge and experience in overall IT Infrastructure and applications, preferable both on-premises and Cloud (SaaS, PaaS)
- Practical experiences and knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery tests, and continuous improvements
- Knowledge of IT Governance like COBIT, and IT Security like ISO27001 is an advantage but not mandatory
- ITIL certification as an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
