The role

The Senior IT Specialist, Communication is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external communication activities within the Contract Logistics IT organization, to other stakeholders in the company, and to customers.

 

The successful candidate owns and maintains the communication and stakeholder plan and ensures clarity and consistence in communication across all levels of the

organization, timely, high-quality communication, and professional presentation of information across stakeholders and leadership levels. The candidate also manages the

internal monthly reporting, organizes department meetings and events, and provides standard communication and reporting templates.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage communication within the department and with other departments, and coordinate external customer communication, ensuring professionalism, timeliness, and high content quality.
  • Align and maintain the overall communication plan, including regular meetings, reporting cycles, and stakeholder communication.
  • Increase communication standardization, reducing non-standard or individual communication formats.
  • Organize and coordinate town halls, leadership meetings including scheduling, input collection, presentation preparation agendas, recording meetings and providing minutes to the audience.
  • Plan, manage, and publish weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports according to the communication plan and defined timelines.
  • Gather reporting input, ensure consistent formatting, manage approvals, and publish via defined channels.
  • Maintain templates and ensure use of standardized formats across the department.
  • Manage, publish and communicate monthly articles (“News Flash”).
  • Create and maintain e-mail distribution lists for the unit and leadership teams.
  • Create, maintain and update templates for reporting, presentations, and other standardized documents.
  • Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
  • Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of DSV.
  • Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

 

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business Management, or related field required.
  • Common understanding of IT processes and IT organization.
  • Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and visual formats
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams), reporting formats, SharePoint, and template management
  • Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and manage deadlines
  • Experience in editorial processes (articles, reports, presentations)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English at a professional, close to native, level.
  • Highly self-reliant, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
