We are looking for a Junior Application Tester who will be responsible with creating automation and testing tools in the automation team in aspects of taking care of the quality of the delivered applications and creating project documentation. Communicating with the business and coordinating the acceptance process of the ordered tools.
Your responsibilities:
- Application requirements analysis within future testing process (RPA / BPA projects)
- Creation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts under the guidance
- Performing manual testing based on project requirements and testing plans
- Regular reporting on the progress and status of testing
- Participation in UAT preparation and execution
- Test scenarios creation and maintaining testing documentation in line with project standards
- Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and other team meetings
- Close collaboration with developers and analysts to ensure requirements are fully clarified
- Communicating potential issues or risks to the Project Manager or senior team members
- Eagerness to learn and proactively improve automated testing tools
Our requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, acceptance testing)
- Familiarity with test management tools (Xray or TestRail)
- English fluency (B1/B2 level)
- Familiarity with MS Office products
- Attention to detail, curiosity and willingness to ask questions
- Basic problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Basic SQL knowledge (ability to write simple queries)
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (or willingness to obtain it)
