About the Position:
Acts as the regional single point of contact for P&O administrative processes and services. Provides governance, harmonization, performance insight, and transformation leadership across countries/clusters in the region, ensuring delivery teams meet agreed SLAs and comply with global standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Process Governance & Harmonization
- Own and maintain the regional catalogue of “hire-to-retire” processes; audit adherence in each country/cluster
- Review/approve localization requests within guardrails before submission to Global
Performance Management & Analytics
- Consolidate SLA/KPI data from all countries
- Identify performance outliers; coordinate root-cause analysis and track remediation
- Benchmark regional cost-to-serve and continuous improvement contributions
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead region-wide CI initiatives and facilitate best-practice sharing among Country Leads.
Compliance & Risk Oversight
- Monitor compliance with labor law, GDPR and audit controls; maintain a regional risk register and mitigation plan; escalate systemic risks
Capability Building & Coaching
- Onboard and coach Country/Cluster Leads and Specialists; curate a regional process documentation library; run “process owner” community calls
Stakeholder Management
- Primary interface to the Global P&O Services & Processes team for regional topics
- Partner with IT, Finance SSC and Business Divisions on cross-border process issues; support M&A integrations and organizational changes
The candidate is expected to satisfy the following criteria:
- Process governance & compliance: enforces adoption of the global blueprint; resolves localization pragmatically
- Performance coaching & KPI management: tells a clear story with data; mentors country teams to close gaps
- Change & stakeholder navigation: builds consensus across Global, Country HR, IT, Finance, and Works Councils
- Continuous-improvement facilitation: runs kaizen/best-practice forums; tracks savings and quality uplift
- Cross-border P&O operations know-how: onboarding, data admin, payroll inputs, exit processes and regulatory nuances
- Traits: diplomatic enforcer; service-mindset coach; culturally astute
- Cognitive abilities: pattern spotting, sound judgment in ambiguity, learning agility
- Motivators: enjoys turning lagging countries “green”; celebrates local wins while advancing global goals

- Derailers to watch: over-identifying with a single country; acting as a “scorekeeper” without coaching; over-escalating to Global
Specific experience in the following areas:
• Bachelor’s in HRM, Business, Industrial Relations or comparable field
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or willingness to certify); Prosci/Change Management beneficial
• 7–10 years in HR operations/shared services, incl. ≥3 years leading multi-country HR teams or projects
• Proven record improving SLA/accuracy KPIs across multiple countries; hands-on in HRIS/process-harmonization rollouts
