Summary
The IT Director – Technology Solution Enablement & Service Operations is responsible for assisting the Sr Director of SC & Analytics to research, identify, and qualify technology investments that are best aligned to support the business growth strategy while augmenting the internal operations efficacy.
The given position is expected to engage heavily in the design-build segments of technology solution delivery and ongoing management works playing a combinations of business relationship manager (internally) and product owner role (externally) – depending on the profile or maturity of given technology asset.
Lastly, the incumbent facilitates the company's information technology functions, including network infrastructure, software systems, and data security working in collaboration with the DSV GIT. The incumbent safeguards the efficient and effective operations of IT processes and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee Technology Asset Management Policies & Procedures
• Research and enhancements to existing Commercial Technology Assets (KTBE)
• Manage Commercial Technology Delivery Operations – Qualify, Design & Build
• Build and manage Commercial Technology Delivery Team (KTBR)
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Ensure data security and privacy conformance to the DSV GIT standards
• Facilitate & implement DSV GIT policies and procedures
• Facilitate management of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems through the DSV GIT
• Monitor the general IT operations performance working in collaboration with the DSV GIT
Educational background / Work experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field of quantitative studies (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, and/or Supply Chain Management)
• At least 15 years of experience in technology or related roles, with at least 10+ years in a managerial position
• Solid experience leading all phases of a technology implementation lifecycle
• Strong senior leadership skills with ability to develop second tier leaders
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Based SC Solutions and Data Integration
• Hands-on experience with data security and privacy
• General knowledge in network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and motivate teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
• Build and manage the technology delivery & maintenance team
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in relevant IT and/or Supply Chain Management fields is preferred.
Language skills
• Fluency in English is required.
Computer Literacy
• Experience in ERP such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics and/or similar
• Working knowledge of cloud-based database management (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, etc)
• Tactical experience tied to EDI/API platform operations (Cleo, TruCommerce, Boomi, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, etc)
• Strong understanding of cloud-based supply chain accelerators and business applications (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, SAP Ariba, Coupa, iValua, Reltio, etc)
• Strong MS Office Suite Expertise (MS Excel, PPT, and Visio)

For this position, the expected base pay is: $166,000 - $249,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
