Summary
At DSV, the Senior Director, Regional Group Services, Americas role offers the opportunity to shape strategy and execution across key functions, including Insurance, Claims & Risk Management, Procurement & Facility Management, and Operational Sustainability. This highly visible leadership position partners closely with senior leaders across the region to align objectives, build a high-performing team, and drive collaboration across geographies. The role also carries dual responsibility as head of one of the regional departmental functions, with direct reporting to the VP for that area.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop RGS Team in region by filling key roles with competent staff, and ensuring continuous engagement growth and development of teams and team members
  • In conjunction with VP RGS and Department Heads support the development of RGS processes including but not limited division of responsibility with central departments, mandates, reporting, and escalation processes  
  • Actively manage relationships with key stakeholders in the Region through proactive communication so as to ensure alignment with business needs and support where required
  • Support change management process for onboarded staff from acquired companies
  • Support business in the region commercially or in managing risks or disputes that arise where Group Services senior representation is required
  • Manage P&L for RGS in region, and ensure budget and sufficient resources are in place where budget sits in divisions, clusters or countries.
  • Provide weekly report in line with Group and Group Services requirements, and ensure this requirement is cascaded through the RGS organization in the region to ensure transparency
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 5 years in a leadership role in a relevant area, preferably within a multi-national and / or logistics organization
  • Professional experience in at least 1 area within Group Services
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with senior leaders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to stakeholder manage across the organization, geographies and cultures
  • Excellent written and verbal English and preferably at least one other language spoken in region, where applicable
  • Tertiary qualification in a related area

For this position, the expected base pay is: $190,500 - $317,500 / Annual.  Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.  This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus program.
