Summary
The Vice President, Special Projects, Road for Region Americas is a strategic executive role focused on deepening relationships and driving value within the company’s most critical and high-value clients—our Platinum & Gold AccountsAccounts. This role adds an executive layer of engagement, ensuring alignment between client goals and company capabilities through structured executive programs, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), strategic planning, and innovation initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a high-touch engagement model for Platinum & Gold Accounts, including executive sponsorship programs and strategic alignment sessions.
 - Oversee projects associated with assigned accounts, including but not limited to new development, community management, internal and external communication, support and maintenance issues.
 - Lead the design, facilitation, and follow-up of QBRs for Platinum & Gold clients, ensuring actionable insights, strategic alignment, and measurable outcomes.
 - Serve as a senior advocate for Gold clients internally, ensuring their needs and feedback are prioritized in strategic planning and product development.
 - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty through exceptional service delivery.
 - Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to regional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
 - Recruit, train, and develop top talent to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.
 - Identify and mitigate operational risks, safety hazards, and compliance issues within the region.
 - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate governance policies.
 - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance against targets and benchmarks.
 - Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on regional performance, achievements, and challenges.
 
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
 - Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a proven track record of success in regional or divisional management roles.
 
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities, with a focus on driving business growth and operational excellence.
 - Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
 - Deep understanding of transportation and logistics operations, including supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution.
 - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive results.

Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
- Directly supervise and lead regional managers, department heads, and other staff within the assigned region.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in logistics management, supply chain management, or related fields (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, PMP).
 - Experience in managing multi-site or multi-country operations within the transportation and logistics industry.
 - Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in transportation and logistics.
 
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
 
Computer Literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 - Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and other relevant software applications.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $230,000-$240,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
