Move forward as P&O Business Partner at DSV in Moerdijk
At DSV, you can fully focus on the HR profession, make a visible difference for people and processes, and work within an international, energetic environment where no two days are the same. With your background as a P&O business partner, your experience truly comes into its own at one of the leading players in the logistics market.
You get it done
Within this department, you have the opportunity to make a real impact on HR processes in a dynamic, international environment: you're on it.
How you do this? As a P&O business partner, you take on an independent advisory role in which you are operationally and tactically responsible for everything related to P&O. Your base location is Moerdijk. Administrative P&O tasks are centrally organised within HR Support, allowing you to fully focus on advice, development and optimisation. In addition, together with your colleagues, you make a (national) contribution to the continuous development and optimisation of various HR processes and the further strengthening of development oriented HR policies.You achieve this by:
- monitoring and supporting inflow, internal mobility and outflow;
- advising and supporting local management in implementing HR policies and guiding employees on complex and strategic matters;
- overseeing compliance with and execution of established HR policies;
- participating in projects related to people and organisational development;
- proactively identifying people related issues, raising them for discussion and contributing to suitable solutions where possible.
Your team stands out within DSV due to its informal atmosphere and short lines of communication. You work closely with six colleagues to address HR challenges both operationally and tactically. Together, you have the freedom to make independent decisions, share ideas and improve processes within a multicultural and dynamic environment.
We are DSV, we grow
DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

says Hans Bul, P&O manager.
In the Netherlands, we operate from over 40 branches, with more than 5,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.
You bring
- a completed higher professional (HBO) degree, preferably in HR (such as HRM or Personnel & Labour), and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- experience advising managers and working within a production and/or logistics environment;
- an entrepreneurial and proactive sparring partner who can operate independently and autonomously;
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English;
- living in the West Brabant or Drechtsteden region and willing to visit other locations when required;
- excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages.
