Mobility and sustainability

Mobility and sustainability are two areas that will be put at the forefront of Expo 2020. These areas fit very well with DSV that continuously seeks to find innovative solutions to green logistics. Heavy transport is a large contributor to the global CO2 emission, and DSV has committed to reducing its carbon footprint by at least 30% in 2030 from a 2019 base year.

“As a global transport and logistics company, we have a global impact on both environment and climate – with that comes great responsibility. That is why we have a clear direction for the reduction of CO2 emission with science-based targets. A green and innovative mindset is the key of Danish business culture, and we intend to lead the way in our industry. To get the opportunity to showcase that to the world at Expo 2020 is an opportunity we cannot miss”, says Michael Carstensen, Managing Director – UAE.

“The Danish Business Pavilion is located at the Mobility area at Expo 2020 and combining green sustainable thinking with mobility is key to the future of transportation. That is why we are proud to welcome the Danish transport giant DSV as a new partner – a global business, determined to set the bar high for green transition in the transport and logistics sector”, says Jens Lund, Pavilion Director – Danish Business Pavilion.
By investing in research and exploring new possibilities of how to do transport and logistics, DSV leads the way to innovative and sustainable solutions for urban mobility.
