You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and would like to set out on new professional horizons? Do you see yourself as an organizational talent and prefer to think in terms of solutions rather than problems?
Welcome to DSV's training programme for lateral entrants in cooperation with SSIB - Swiss School for International Business! In just three months we will get you ready to start in the first logistics league - including a certificate of completion and a permanent employment relationship with DSV! How we do this? With intensive training and support, with competence and empathy.
You will complete a 6-days intensive course at SSIB where you will learn the basics of international trade that is followed by a two-day additional training in international transportation given by experts from DSV Air & Sea. You will be supported by a professional team of DSV experts and SSIB trainers from module to module and will receive personal feedback during your training.
A DSV mentor is available during your training to answer your questions and concerns. And of course you will also receive all the support you need from other employees while on site in the DSV office. Equipped with the 1x1 of the air and sea freight forwarder and an SSIB certificate as Sachbearbeiter/-in Import/Export mit SIHK-Diplom (export clerk), you can take your next career step as a certified freight forwarder at DSV Air&Sea AG.

The training is currently offered in Zurich only. New locations in Switzerland will be added throughout the year.
DSV will cover all training costs with a corresponding training agreement (course prices are available on the SSIB website). By signing the agreement, the course participant will commit to work at DSV Air & Sea AG for 12 months. In case of not taking up the position at DSV, the cancellation costs are to be paid by the course participant according to the SSIB conditions.
