As a team leader cross dock at DSV, you are the key link between operations and the team, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently and on time.

You get it done

Within our cross-dock operation, you work at the heart of logistics, where speed, collaboration and flexibility are essential. You lead your team while remaining clearly visible and actively involved on the floor: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As a Team Leader, you provide structure, clarity and motivation. You keep oversight, adjust where necessary and coordinate with your senior team leader whenever challenges arise. Thanks to your hands on approach, the operation keeps running smoothly, even during peak moments and shift changes. You achieve this by:

• coordinating and distributing daily tasks within the cross dock; 
• leading, motivating and coaching your team on the shop floor; 
• actively supporting loading, unloading and sorting activities when required; 
• identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks;
• ensuring compliance with procedures, safety rules and quality standards.

Your team stands out within DSV by a compact, committed group of warehouse employees operating in an environment where teamwork is essential. You are the spider in the web: visible, approachable and clear. Through your leadership style, you bring people together and keep the team motivated, even during busy shifts.

You bring

• experience in a warehouse, cross dock or transit environment; 
• the ability to both lead a team and actively participate in operations; 
• a problem solving mindset with a strong focus on efficiency; 
• good communication skills in English (Dutch or German is a plus);
• willingness to work on a three shift schedule.
