DSV consolidates its activities in Rotterdam and Moerdijk

As of 30 April 2026, DSV will close its Air & Sea branch in Dordrecht. Operations will be consolidated across two new locations: office functions in Rotterdam-Heijplaat and logistics activities in a modern distribution centre in Moerdijk. With this move, DSV will operate more efficiently and align more closely with the logistics network.

DSV Moerdijk 2026

With the closure of the Dordrecht site, DSV is further completing the reorganisation of its operations in the Netherlands. Office and logistics activities have now been accommodated at the new locations in Rotterdam-Heijplaat and Moerdijk: strategically selected to strengthen collaboration and further optimise processes.

Office activities move to Rotterdam-Heijplaat

Office activities have now been relocated to the Rotterdam-Heijplaat site. This location is situated in the heart of the Port of Rotterdam, close to key logistics partners and shipping lines. Its position enables faster decision-making and further improves communication with all stakeholders involved.

Logistics activities concentrated in Moerdijk

Logistics activities have been accommodated in a new, large-scale facility in Moerdijk. This modern site offers extensive storage and distribution capabilities and is strategically located within the Netherlands.

This location features:

  • More than 200,000 m² of storage and distribution space.
  • 10 modern warehouses with a combined floor area of 198,300 m².
  • A mezzanine of 38,600 m².
  • Powered by 12,000 solar panels.
  • Directly connected office spaces, ensuring close coordination between operations and office functions.

At this location, three divisions have been brought together: Air & Sea, Contract Logistics and Road. This integration enables DSV to better align its processes and serve customers more quickly and efficiently.
At this site, the Air & Sea division makes use of 20,000 m² of warehouse capacity and 6,500 m² of cross-dock space. Approximately 30 employees will be based here.

DSV’s services will remain fully operational. Customers can continue to rely on their regular contacts and the level of service they are accustomed to.
DSV would like to thank all its partners for their trust and looks forward to welcoming them to one of the new locations soon.
