We communicate transparently about our fuel surcharges, to avoid unexpected surprises
See how the fuel surcharge is calculated by DSV XPress and stay up to date with the current surcharges. These variable allowances apply to all consignments.
This surcharge is based on the prices of aviation fuel as published by the US Department of Energy for the Rotterdam spot market. When fuel prices decrease, the surcharge is reduced or fully eliminated. Since 1 January 2022, this surcharge applies to various costs, including freight charges, deliveries to remote areas, residential deliveries, Saturday deliveries, large package surcharges, oversized packages, additional handling fees, non-stackable pallets, peak surcharges, and the UK border fee. The surcharge is applied globally in all countries where DSV operates and is specified separately for each shipment.
