We offer daily departures of LCL and FCL shipments between China and the main hubs in Europe.

Rail freight transport is flexible, reliable, economical, environmentally friendly and most of all fast - with a transit time of approximately 19-22 days from China to most logistics hubs in Europe.

With our own locations in Europe and China, we offer you total rail solutions from door to door, as well as document management and the shipping of FCL containers. Of course, there are also options for LCL cargo, for this we use our own consolidation containers.

We consolidate all LCL shipments at our own locations and then transport the containers to the rail terminals. There are two main routes for the freight trains with several sub-routes mostly passing through Germany - Duisburg in the Ruhr area or Hamburg.

The benefits of rail freight from and to China

  • Own container consolidation;
  • Multiple weekly departures to and from China with various connections;
  • About twice as fast as sea freight;
  • Door-to-door freight handling;
  • Complete transport insurance during transport possible – without deductible;
  • Specialized rail team with European, Russian and Chinese DSV employees;
  • Departures from various rail terminals throughout China.

Transport by rail versus air and sea freight

The transit time from rail terminal to rail terminal is approximately 15 to 18 days, depending on the route. That is on average half the time it takes to move a container by ship, certainly since the introduction of "slow steaming" to save fuel. These shorter transit times allow companies to respond more quickly to changing market demands.

Companies whose goods literally “missed the boat” from China previously had to book expensive air freight shipments to get their goods to their destination on time. Rail now offers a more environmentally friendly and flexible solution to get your goods to Europe that is also many times cheaper than air freight. In terms of time, we position train transport between air and sea freight.
