A one-year operational development programme combining hands-on experience and structured learning to help individuals new to freight forwarding build the skills, confidence and connections needed for a strong foundation in logistics.

What is the Trainee Academy?

Build your foundation in freight forwarding

The Trainee Academy is DSV’s one-year operational trainee programme designed to develop future freight forwarding professionals. Through a structured combination of local on-the-job training, operational experience, and mandatory learning modules, trainees build the core knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in freight forwarding roles.

The programme is designed for individuals in their first professional role, with up to 1.5 years of experience at DSV, limited or no logistics background, and an interest in operational freight forwarding roles.

The programme is currently available within our Air & Sea and Road divisions.
