A high-tech company wanted to ensure corporate compliance for its import and export activities. An assessment of the situation showed a risk of potential liabilities because the company lacked error visibility and did not document internal controls.

To overcome this hurdle, DSV was selected to audit all entry related transactions in addition to auditing all of the company’s Automated Export System (AES) transactions.

During this diligent process, DSV identified repetitive errors, communicated risks to the client and service providers, implemented corrective procedures and developed Standard Operating Procedures, minimizing exposure to potential penalties.
