First stone laid for new Belgian Road office
New and larger site in Menen-Rekkem is due to open mid 2019
Securing our continuous growth
Today, October 4, the symbolic first stone was laid for the new DSV Road building in Rekkem, Belgium. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Mayoress of Menen/Rekkem, Martine Fournier, Luk Beke (CEO of the project developer), Arno van Berlo (DSV Group Property) and Luk Thieuw (MD DSV Road nv).
This event marks the launch of a new and larger site in Rekkem, near the French border, where we have been located for many years. This DSV branch, one of the 4 Road sites in Belgium, responsible for traffic lanes to/from France, Spain, Portugal, UK and Ireland is currently handling 150.000 shipments yearly.
The spacious new office building will have a surface of 2000 m² and the adjacent transit terminal of 6000 m² will dispose of 52 loading bays.
This ambitious project will contribute to define our future and our plans for further continuous growth.
